"Sixty-five miles
in three days, against sixty miles an hour of the express trains of
the world. "Speed's the thing," cries the world, and speeds on,
gaining little but speed; and we bush-folk travel our sixty miles and
gain all that is worth gaining -- except speed."
-from "We of the
Never-Never" by Mrs. Aeneas Gunn

Breakfast
- Every morning begins with a
hearty breakfast cooked over an open fire preparing you for a full day in
the saddle; billy-tea, eggs, bacon, potatoes. For a full day on the trail
you'll need to start this well! |

Your Horse
Your horse will be your primary
responsibility for the ten day drive. Our experienced hands will show you
what you need to know. Over these ten days you'll find your horse
becomes your partner. Take good care of him because he's taking
good care of you. |

Amenities
This is an outback adventure but not without
comforts. Outdoor warm-water showers are a treat even the most
experienced drover enjoys. We're rugged, not crazy. Once the
work is done for the day we're happy to relax around the fire. |

The
Drive Moving our herd of
Hereford and Brahman cattle to fresh feed everyday is the point of this cattle
drive. Historically, the cattle drive was a battle against time and
wilderness. Today, most cattle are moved by huge stock transports.
You, on the other hand, have the chance to follow trails of legends with
us. Choose your level of participation as you ride through
Australia's spectacular Outback. |

Dinner
Waiting at the end of a full day's ride is
full and filling meal. No quiche or fancy garnishes, but our
"cookie" can grill a chop that you'll look forward to all day.
